Despite their different origins, the music of Pavia and Keller is uncompromisingly clear in its expression.

Some of the compositions on the album were recorded by Flückiger with her Trio and Valentin Gloor.

Pavia’s work “ Flair“  is dedicated to the trio Flair. It is an acronym derived from the consonants of the performers’ three surnames (Flückiger/Läderach/Rütsche).  

“Per un addio“ is based on the third verse of the poem of the same name by Gabriela Fantato. The composition is dedicated to Esther Flückiger, who accompanied Pavia during a hard time.

“Trio fluido“ by Keller is based on elements that flow in the broadest sense: sustained sounds, wide-spun melodies and an often-repeated phrase from Swiss country music.

Trio Flair (Esther Flückiger, piano –  Stefan Läderach, violin –  Emanuel Rütsche, cello)  has been founded in 2003. The focus of its programs is always  an exchange between contemporary and traditional music. Concerts and tours in Italy, Switzerland, Argentine. CD and TV recordings.
