A musical narrative in search of the roots of the people Walser, living in the Swiss mountain valley “Vals“ in the Middle Ages.

The themes of the performance and CD are:

market place/ communication, kitchen/ food/ poverty/ wealth house / wood / barn / architecture, glaciers / The energy of nature / meadow / cow / bells, emigration / nomadism / language / identity, church / religion / legend

The musicians remember the roots in their music. Their music hints at a time, when instruments were still primary means of communication.

By mixing different cultural influences they achieve sound spaces of magical sphere and mystical energy.
